KHARISMA DANCE STUDIO IS SUPER EXCITED TO OPEN A NEW (2ND) LOCATION AT “THE VICTORY CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY CENTER” IN BEAUTIFUL ELLIJAY, GEORGIA ON SEPTEMBER 3,2019!

Kharisma Dance continues to strive to develop the creative potential in each student, a process which is both physically and spiritually enriching! Participating in dance education at an early age has been shown to positively impact a child’s overall development, enhancing fluidity, balance, flexibility, rhythm, and spatial awareness while encouraging musicality and creative artistry.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Kharisma Dance Studio was established on 12/13/2014 to share the joy of dance, a gift that has been graciously provided by a loving, creative, and exuberant God! We aim to foster technical, theatrical, and spiritual dance training while striving to uphold a high level of excellence in the performing arts. Our ultimate goal is to glorify God through the continuous refinement of dance technique and execution with modesty and sophistication.

“To be in the world, not of the world…” using the gift of dance to share our testimonies, to encourage and not tear down, our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Classes are offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, and Liturgical for ages 4 years through adult. Ballroom and Swing Dance are offered in special workshops and in private lessons for students ages 10 years and older. In addition, every session opens with an uplifting spiritual message and focus (e.g., “We dance so that through us God may manifest His glory and power to set people free!” - Isaiah 61:1), conducted by a trained and loving instructor who is dedicated to training up exceptional performing artists and strong spiritual leaders. Our students are encouraged to participate in at least one annual recital or musical performance to share their God given talents and to serve one another in love.

OUR STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

We dance because of God, unto God, and through God 
as an act of obedience and worship according to His Holy Word.
(Psalms 149)

We are worshipers of the one, true, living God; 
We will serve no other gods.
(Exodus 20:3)

Therefore, we will not use our bodies for ungodliness,
but as instruments of righteousness used to glorify God. 
(Romans 6:13)

We will offer them up to God as living sacrifices, pure and acceptable to Him.
(Romans 12:1)

We will let the beauty be that of our inner self (I Peter 3:4) as we learn together what is good (Job 34:4) that the Lord gives us wisdom (Proverbs 2:6) in using every good and perfect gift that is from above. (James 1:17)

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE KHARISMA DANCE STUDIO WILL BE REOPENING AT THE BLUE RIDGE COMMUNITY THEATER ON MAY 1, 2018!  !T’S A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN.  BLUE RIDGE COMMUNITY THEATER ("BRCT") HAS CREATED A WONDERFUL ENVIRONMENT FOR ASPIRING STAGE ARTISTS OF ALL AGES TO EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF MUSICAL THEATER AND KHARISMA DANCE STUDIO WILL PROVIDE THE FOUNDATIONAL DANCE TECHNIQUE TRAINING REQUIRED FOR ALL STAGE ACTORS TO FEEL CONFIDENT AND PREPARED FOR MUSICAL AUDITIONS AND PERFORMANCES!  A SAFE AND NURTURING ON-SITE LEARNING SPACE MAKES IT EASY FOR ASPIRING ARTISTS TO DEVELOP THE SKILLS THEY NEED TO SUCCESSFULLY AND COMFORTABLY EMBRACE THEIR TIME ON STAGE. .
